Applicability

Compliance expectations depend on the request, contract, framework, jurisdiction, company and evidence period. We keep those qualifications next to the claims they limit and do not present common audit practice as universal law.

Sources and standards

Primary sources, regulators, governments, standards organizations, framework owners, recognized professional bodies and authoritative technical documentation are preferred. A software vendor’s marketing page will not be the only source for a compliance claim. Copyrighted standards are summarized carefully and not reproduced without permission.

Authorship and review

Pages identify their author, original publication date, last review, next review, sources and change history. Named people, credentials and expert reviews are published only after verification. High-risk guidance cannot publish without the reviewer required by publication policy.

Research and product claims

Benchmark claims require a public methodology, reviewed observations, sample size, collection period, limitations, reviewer approval and anonymisation check. Product claims must be verifiable. EvidenceFit does not invent customers, outcomes, partnerships, certifications or performance numbers.

Anonymous observations

Research consent is mandatory. Raw observations and identifying questionnaire text are not public. Public releases use reviewed aggregation and disclosure controls.

Generated content

Generated drafts require human editorial review before publication. Generation is not a source, an expert review or evidence that a claim is true.

Corrections

Material corrections are dated and described in page history. Readers can report an error through the corrections page. An editorial disagreement is evaluated against the cited evidence and stated scope.
